The Hawkeye Hart-Parr Company was established as a distributor for Hart-Parr in February 1918. Their location was at 501 1st Avenue S in Ft. Dodge. In November 1919, they officially incorporated in the state of Iowa. Marvid Carlson was president and treasurer of the corporation and F.E. Haymond was vice president and secretary. They operated both as a wholesale distributor for Hart-Parr dealers in their area and a retail farm equipment dealer. Later, they moved to the west side of the City Square in downtown Ft. Dodge. In addition to Hart-Parr, they sold Oliver plows and implements and Ann Arbor ensilage cutters. Somebody must have thought they did big business because in April 1928, their safe was blown open during a break-in! Their distribution area went east to include a dealer in State Center, Iowa, which is about 85 miles southeast. No advertisements or information can be found for Hawkeye Hart-Parr after 1928.
