DEALer BANNER archives
Banners were a temporary advertising tool offered to Oliver dealers for use at their dealerships and shows. Because of the cloth material these banners were made from, very few of these banners have survived. We have compiled the following banners that we are aware of today used by Oliver over the years.
Oliver 880 Banner
When Oliver updated the Super series to become the three-digit series in 1958, this banner was used to promote the model 880 tractor. It featured a drawing of an Oliver 880 diesel tractor in operation. This same picture was also used on the advertising literature for the tractor. These banners measured 10' long by 3' tall and had half circle wind reliefs cut into the banner for outdoor use. |
Oliver Right for Delivery Banner
The Right for Delivery Banners promoted a used equipment "Trade Fair" event that Oliver dealers held to promote the used machinery on their lot to customers. This 1960's era banner measured 120" by 33" and doesn't include the Oliver logo, but instead has an outline of the keystone shape.

Oliver Power Fleet Banner
Another banner from Oliver promoted the "Oliver Power Fleet" from the 1960's. This banner design measures 8' wide by 3' tall and is another that does not include the Oliver logo, but does feature the black and orange color scheme. Interestingly, the drab green and purple text colors are not common for Oliver advertising. This is another extremely rare banner to see in existence today.

Oliver Farm Fair Banner
Featuring the Oliver 1800 tractor, this early 1960's banner promoted the Oliver "Farm Fair" events that Oliver dealerships held to promote customers to visit their dealer. These banners measure 108" long by 32" tall and really stand out with the orange background. This is one of our favorite banners that Oliver ever provided to dealers!

Keystone Logo Banner
This simple white banner featured the Oliver Keystone logo. Measuring in at approximately 52" wide by 40" tall, these banners were designed for indoor display in dealership showrooms or inside tents at shows and fairs. The top of the banners include a pole pocket where a wooden rod can be slid into the banner for display. |
