Starting in December 1945 through 1948, Boone Motor & Implement Co at 6th & Boone Street was the dealer for Oliver farm equipment in Boone, Iowa. Frank Olsen was the owner and manager. He also was a Chevrolet & Buick dealer operating as Olsen Chevrolet since 1933. In addition to Oliver, Boone Motor & Implement sold various brands of implements from 1942 - 1950 including Minneapolis Moline, Massey Harris, and New Idea.
In March 1949, Boone Motor & Implement changed its name to Boone Implements, Inc. It was still owned by Frank Olsen and located at 819 6th Street. In March 1950, Frank started to exit the implement business and sold off the Minneapolis Moline and New Idea lines, but kept Oliver and Massey Harris for a few months. Don Peterson Motor replaced Boone Implements as the Oliver dealer for Boone in July 1950.
